LIAM GABRIEL TOMAN - STILL MISSING

Liam Gabriel Toman, age 22 from Ontario went missing on the evening of February 2nd (Saturday to Sunday) just after 3:00 a.m. after he left a local bistro in the village of Mont Tremblant, Quebec. The last time Liam was seen, he was wearing a black and dark green patterned coat, black pants, a green plaid sweater, and a white and black striped toque.

Liam was away on his planned Mont Tremblant Ski Trip starting February 1, 2025 with two friends. Liam is a sociable kid with a big family. He has an amazing sense of humour, a silly laugh, loves McDonald's or sushi, and never said no to a good steak (especially when he barbecued it). Liam graduated from Niagara College last spring with an Electronics Technician Diploma and can fix almost anything electronic. He loves to ski, play golf, play video games, learn all about his car, and spend time with his friends.

Liam last used his phone at 3:16 a.m. on February 2nd. He is not considered a runaway. He has not accessed his bank account, used his phone, or any of his social media accounts since that time. A person does not just disappear.

He is still missing and Sûreté du Québec continues to investigate his disappearance.

The Search

Starting on February 2nd, an extensive ground search was initiated by the Sûreté du Québec and involved over 100 officers and specialized teams (coming from as far as Quebec City), Mont Tremblant security, and volunteers from the Quebec Association of Search and Rescue Volunteers (AQBRS). For five days the search covered an extensive area within a 500-meter radius of the Mont Tremblant mountain, village, and surrounding area, with investigators scanning surveillance cameras, interviewing people, and knocking door-to-door. A police helicopter equipped with infrared flew over a larger area to scan the terrain, mountain, lakes, and roads. Snowmobiles traversed the roads, snow piles were removed, horses combed the mountain, and divers checked the swamp and lake on day five. Every vehicle entering Mont Tremblant on the second weekend was stopped to distribute posters. Liam was not found, no body was recovered, and he remains missing.

Friends, family, colleagues, and strangers have shared Liam’s Missing Persons post across the internet and continue to send positive thoughts and prayers. The family appreciates all the support.

To maintain focus on finding Liam, the family has created this website to provide updates. This is meant to complement — and not replace — the official efforts of missing persons authorities and the Sûreté du Québec.
