Meeting with Ville de Mont-Tremblant Council - Sept 8, 2025

Update as we continue our efforts and investigation to Bring Liam Home

On September 8, we met with the Ville de Mont-Tremblant council to address the urgent need for upgraded security infrastructure, including enhanced camera surveillance and improved lighting in key public areas.

We stressed that safety requires true collaboration. The Ville de Mont-Tremblant, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the Tremblant Resort Association (TRA), VMT, and Station Tremblant must work together to strengthen protocols, prevention, and investigative tools.

As these discussions move forward, it is critical to remember that Liam Toman is still missing and this remains an active criminal investigation. Strengthening security is not only about prevention—it is also about ensuring law enforcement has the tools necessary to protect residents, support investigations, and reassure visitors.

Our hope is that these measures will lead to meaningful change now so that no other family endures what ours has had to face. Thank you to Sylvie Blais who joined me in support at the meeting and Dominique Laverdure - deputy Mayor for translating. Merci
